The voice came from inside myself, clear as can be. It was 1995, I was pregnant with my daughter, and I had just learned on the news of the tragic bombing in Oklahoma City. Through my tears, I questioned how our world could be home to such hate. I felt powerless to help. But the voice continued:
“One person at a time through touch.”
Suddenly, it all became clear to me. I may not be able to fix all of the world’s problems, but I could do something. I could play my specific role, beginning in my own community and spreading love in the best way I knew how—through healing touch.
From that moment forward, I dedicated my life to offering massage, energy work, and spa services using products that are good for people and our world. Inspired by that calling, I created Truth—the first organic spa in Massachusetts.
